NORMAN, Okla. – The OU Athletics Department and the Sooner baseball team have pushed back the start of the home series against Nebraska.  Saturday’s series opener has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Norman area.  The series now is set to begin with a doubleheader on Sunday.  Game one is slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch at L. Dale Mitchell Park and game two will follow approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

A winter storm that hit Oklahoma on Friday afternoon has already affected the three-game series which was set to begin on March 27. The third and final game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. first pitch on Monday.

Seats remain for the Nebraska series and gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.  Tickets purchased for Saturday’s game are valid for either game of the doubleheader on Sunday.  In addition, tickets purchased for Friday’ game are valid for Monday’s game. Tickets are available at the gate, online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-GoOU.  The office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on the plaza level of the Asp Avenue parking garage.
