Played in all but two games for the Sooners with 55 starts (50 at catcher) ... Had a hit in 46 of those starts and reached base safely in all but seven games ... Threw out a Big 12 best 30 potential base runners this year (52 percent) and committed just two errors, good for a .996 fielding percentage ... Picked off six runners ... Two-year letterwinner at Louisiana State University under Smoke Laval where he hit .274 in 101 games ... Played in 43 games (40 starts at third base) in 2007 and hit .234 with nine doubles, three triples, two homers, 19 RBIs and 16 runs ... Started in all 58 games in 2006 as a freshman ... Hit .299 with 11 homers and 40 RBIs en route to earning 2006 Freshman All-America honors (Collegiate Baseball) ... Also named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
