Finalist for Brooks Wallace Award, awarded to the nation's top shortstop ... First team All-Big 12 selection after hitting .324 with seven homers and 29 RBIs in conference play ... Ranked second in the Big 12 with 65 runs scored behind Jamie Johnson ... Started all 63 games at short after making 39 starts in two previous seasons ... Batting average never dipped below .350 during the season ... Hit safely in all but 10 games ... Led OU with 28 multiple-hit games and was second with 16 multiple RBI-games ... Made one error in the final 17 games ... Connected for a career-high three hits against Oklahoma State on May 18 and tied a career high with two RBIs ... Tied a career high with two RBIs against Western Illinois (March 8), Southern Nazarene (April 16) and Oklahoma State (May 18)... Collected hits in 18 of his 22 starts ... Hit. 462 in Big 12 play (11 games) ... One of OU's top hitters in the Big 12 Conference tournament with a .364 average and three RBIs.

2007 [FRESHMAN]:
Played in 33 games and started 15 games at shortstop (two at third base)... Five of his eleven hits came in three games played against Missouri ... Drove in a season-high two RBIs against Missouri in Big 12 Championship off his first career home run ... Put together a season-high three-game hitting streak from May 12 through May 14 and finished the span 5-for-11 at the plate.

Three-year letterwinner at Saint Bonaventure High School under Raul Camacho ... Batted .402 with 17 stolen bases as a senior ... All-State silver slugger award and all-area team as a senior ...
