Started his second game of the year in deciding game of Norman Regional against Wichita State, struck out three - career-high 60 pitches ... Night vs. Day: Had a 9.82 ERA in four night appearances but 3.86 ERA in three daytime appearances ... Pitched in first start of the season on April 11 vs. TCU and lasted 1 2/3 inning after allowing five earned runs off five hits ... Five of his nine earned runs came in that first start ... Saw first action of the season on April 2 vs. Texas after recovering from off-season shoulder surgery (bone spurs) ... Threw 2/3 of an inning of spotless relief to end the game.
