Bryant Breaks Discus Program Record

NORMAN, Okla. – University of Oklahoma senior Luke Bryant broke the Oklahoma program record in the men’s discus throw Thursday afternoon during the Old Style Athletics Series at John Jacobs Field. Bryant’s throw of 205 feet, eight inches breaks a 27 year-old record, previously set by Ed Wade in 1985.

Bryant finished second overall and as the top collegiate competitor. He is back in action next week at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Des Moines, Iowa.
