2010: Opened the season with a throw of 212-5 (64.76) to finish second at the Tulsa Duels ... Earned All-Big 12 honors by finishing fifth with a throw of 210-0 (64.02) at the Big 12 Championships.

At LSU: Named to Dean's list in Spring of 2008. (2007) Enjoyed a breakout sophomore season for the Tigers in 2007 ... earned his first career All-America honor in the javelin with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in June ... recorded a throw of 225-11 in the national final ... helped lead the Tigers to a national runner-up finish during the outdoor season ... won his first career SEC title in the event with a personal best toss of 239-8 at the SEC Outdoor Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala. ... closed in on the school record in the javelin as he ranked No. 2 on LSU's all-time outdoor performance in the event ... automatically qualified for the national meet with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships (228-4) ... won javelin titles at the LSU Tiger Classic (217-11) and LSU Alumni Gold (236-0) ... also threw the javelin at the Louisiana Classics (224-1), LSU Tiger Relays (222-11), Texas Relays (229-9), Sun Angel Classic (231-1) and Penn Relays (224-9) ... set a new PR in his specialty five times in 2007 ... posted a team high eight regional qualifying marks during the season.
