Personal: Son of Gary Lee Jeffrey Sr. ... Has two sisters, Kimiko Ritter and Jennifer Jeffrey.

2009: Finished fourth in the javelin with a throw 196-10 (60.01) at the Tulsa Duals ... Moved up to No. 3 on the OU performance list at the Texas Relays, becoming just the fourth thrower in Sooner history to eclipse the 200-foot mark in the new rule javelin. Jeffrey finished eighth in the event with a throw 203-1 (61.89) ... Won the javelin at the Sooner Invitational with a throw of 199-4 (60.75).

2008: (Outdoor) Redshirted after suffering a severe injury from a bicycle-automobile collison.

At Moorpark: California college level state champion in the javelin.
