OU spirit squads support the athletics
teams of the University of Oklahoma by generating crowd
enthusiasm and fostering school spirit and loyalty
to the Sooners. Spirit leaders also participate
in a variety of alumni, civic and charitable events.

Sooner Spirit |
Welcome to OU Spirit! Our programs include the Cheerleaders
(large co-ed and small co-ed), the Pom Squad, the costumed
mascots - Boomer and Sooner, the RUF/NEKS, and the
Sooner Schooner.
We are proud to support the athletic
teams at the University of Oklahoma by generating crowd
enthusiasm and by fostering school spirit and loyalty
to the Sooners. Our spirit leaders also participate
in a variety of alumni, civic and charitable events.
Being a proud member of the OU Spirit programs is not
only a year-round commitment, but a lasting part of
the tradition that is Sooner athletics.

Junior Spirit Squads |
Youth ages kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to participate in OU's Junior Spirit Squad program. Classes are one hour per week and the curriculum consists of cheers, chants, pom dances, and beginning tumbling and stunt skills. Visit the following link for complete information:

Spirit Camps |
