Will Palmer enters his second year as the director of operations for the University of Oklahoma Track & Field staff. He is responsible for a wide variety of duties including all aspects of team travel, home meet management, on-campus recruiting, and acting as a liaison between the track & field staff and various other offices throughout the athletic department.
Prior to Oklahoma, Palmer spent the summer of 2010 as an intern with the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. His primary responsibilities included marketing to potential vendors, researching The Bowerman and Hall of Fame candidates, and coordinating the Milestones exhibit for their annual convention. He continues to serve on staff at their annual convention held every December. |

Palmer also spent time as a coaching intern with Team Indiana Elite under head coach Robert Chapman. There he assisted in the administration of daily workouts in preparation for the World Indoor Championships and created video content for the team's website.
A graduate of Williams College, Palmer was a member of the men's cross country and track & field teams where he focused on the 1500m and 3000m steeplechase. He received a Bachelors of Arts in mathematics in June 2011.
