Head coach Leeanne Crain announced the hiring of Megan Mitchell as the program's graduate assistant in July. Mitchell served in the same capacity under Crai at the University of Central Florida.
Mitchell recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports and fitness from UCF, where she led the lightweight team as a captain under Crain.
"One of the greatest strengths of the staff is our shared vision for the future of rowing at OU," Crain said. "We are equally committed to building a program that is highly competitive and one that produces athletes who are successful in all realms - from performance on the water to performance in the classroom."
Mitchell is currently pursuing her master's degree in intercollegiate athletics administration here at the University of Oklahoma.
