The mission of the OU Department
of Athletics is to inspire champions today and prepare
leaders for tomorrow by providing an excellent environment
to enable student-athletes to achieve their highest
academic, athletic and personal aspirations.
The success of OU's teams contribute
to a sense of pride in the community and across the
state. The very mention of the word "Sooners" evokes a sense of history,
