Oklahoma added four Big 12 titles and one MPSF championship to its trophy case this year, bringing OU's total to 251 conference titles all-time. The five teams dominated all season, posting a 57-7 combined record against league competition. With team success also came individual accolades, as all five OU coaches earned Coach of the Year honors for their respective sport, and six Sooners were recognized with athlete of the year honors.
 
It certainly was another banner year for the Sooners. Congratulations once again to all five teams who brought home conference titles in 2011-12!
 

Women's Golf 2012 Big 12 Champions   Program's fifth conference title overall and first since 2000 Posted a three-round score of 904 (+64) amid rainy and windy conditions in Lawrence, Kan. The No. 32 Sooners beat five other teams ranked ahead of them (No. 16 A&M, No. 17 OSU, No. 18 Baylor, No. 29 Tech, No. 31 Texas) Four OU golfers finished among the field's top 16 -- Chirapat Jao-Javanil, 2nd; Anne-Catherine Tanguay, 4th; Jacki Marshall, T-16th; Taylor Schmidt, T-16th) Jao-Javanil, a sophomore, earned All-Big 12 first team honors for the second straight season Third-year head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year Jao Javanil went on to win the NCAA individual title while the Sooners matched the best finish in program history by placing sixth at the NCAA Championships   Women's Golf Wins Big 12 Championship | Sooners Reflect on Title | History & Tradition

Men's Gymnastics 2012 MPSF Conference Champions   Won the program's eighth conference title in the last 10 years and 19th overall Posted a 356.600 to beat No. 3 Stanford, No. 7 Cal and No. 12 Air Force at the conference meet OU held off defending MPSF and NCAA champion Stanford with a 57.750 on its weekest event, pommel horse, in the final rotation Jake Dalton was crowned MPSF Gymnast of the Year after winning four individual titles, including the all-around with a score of 89.250 Mark Williams collected his ninth MPSF Coach of the Year honor Oklahoma finished unbeaten (12-0) against MPSF competition on the year The Sooners went on to finish second at the 2012 NCAA Championships, which they hosted at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman   OU Wins Eighth Conference Title in 10 Years |  Photo Gallery | History & Tradition

Women's Gymnastics 2012 Big 12 Champions   Captured the 10th conference title in program history OU has claimed four of the last five Big 12 titles Won with a season-high score of 197.475 in front of the home crowd at the Lloyd Noble Center Junior Brie Olson won the all-around title in her first career all-around appearance Two-time All-American Kayla Novak suffered an injury in practice earlier in the week, forcing the Sooners to use first-time competitors on bars, beam and floor Megan Ferguson was named the Big 12 Event Specialist of the Year after winning individual titles on bars and beam K.J. Softball 2012 Big 12 Champions   Claimed its ninth title since the Big 12 formed in 1996 Earned the conference title outright with a 19-5 league record Oklahoma won all eight of its Big 12 series' on the year, including three sweeps Keilani Ricketts and Lauren Chamberlain were named the Big 12 Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, respectively, both voted unanimously Four Sooners were named to the All-Big 12 First Team -- Ricketts, Chamberlain, Georgia Casey and Jessica Shults Patty Gasso collected Big 12 Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in her career As a team, OU set the Big 12 home runs record with 102 on the year, 14 more than the previous record set by Texas in 2010 The Sooners went on to finish as the NCAA runner-up in the Women's College World Series   Big 12 Title with Big 12 Record | Coach Gasso Wired | History & Tradition

Men's Tennis 2012 Big 12 Regular Season Champions 2012 Big 12 Tournament Champions   Won the program's 31st and 32nd conference titles overall and first since 1992 Senior David Pultr clinched the tournament title by outlasting Baylor's Julien Bley in an epic 4.5 hour match that played to tiebreakers in all three sets (6-7, 7-6, 7-6) Clinched the regular season title outright with a 6-1 victory in the Bedlam match vs. Oklahoma State The Sooners finished unbeaten (7-0) against Big 12 competition for the first time in program history OU swept the Big 12 postseason awards with Costin Paval the Player of the Year, Guillermo Alcorta the Newcomer of the Year and John Roddick the Coach of the Year Tsvetan Mihov, Peerakit Siributwong, Dane Webb also earned All-Big 12 honors Paval (singles & doubles) and freshman Dane Webb (doubles) went on to earn All-America honors   Men's Tennis Claims Big 12 Championship |  Photo Gallery |  Highlights
