NORMAN, Okla. -- The 2011-12 OU Athletics season was another one marked by success across the board. This week, SoonerSports.com takes a look back with a series of features highlighting the most outstanding team and individual performances from the past year.

Oklahoma crowned four individual national champions in 2011-12. While one came as a bit of a surprise -- Chirapat "Ja" Jao-Javanil entered the NCAA Women's Golf Championship ranked No. 59 in the country -- the others did not. Two were repeat national champions -- men's gymnastics' Jake Dalton and track & field's Brittany Borman. Two earned multiple crowns -- Dalton and track & field's Tia Brooks. And all but one -- Borman -- will be back in Sooner uniforms next year.

Jake Dalton | Jr. | Men's Gymnastics 2012 NCAA All-Around Champion 2012 NCAA Parallel Bars Champion   Claimed the NCAA all-around title with a career-high score of 91.000 Also finished second on floor and third on rings and high bar First gymnast in OU's storied history to earn All-America honors on six events (all-around, floor, high bar, p-bars, rings, vault) in one season In three seasons at Oklahoma, Dalton owns 13 All-America honors and four individual national titles Won conference all-around, high bar, parallel bars and rings titles 2012 MPSF Gymnast of the Year Current member of the U.S. National Team   Dalton First to Earn Six All-America Honors OU Men's Gym History & Tradition | National Champions
