NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma, its online commerce partner, Team FanShop, and the United Way have teamed up for a second straight year to lend assistance to agencies providing relief following a spring storm outbreak across Oklahoma.
 
After severe weather impacted areas throughout the state on April 13, the University of Oklahoma once again implemented a collaborative effort in which the net proceeds will be donated to the United Way to benefit affected Oklahomans.
 
T-shirts featuring "2012 Relief Efforts - Oklahoma Helping Oklahomans" are currently available in the OU Online Store. The shirt, manufactured by Box Seat Clothing Co., may be purchased for $19.95 (men's) and $21.95 (women's) with a flat-rate $4.99 shipping fee for any quantity ordered.
 
The United Way works directly with agencies such as the American Red Cross and Salvation Army that have been providing round-the-clock assistance to Oklahomans in need. Services provided include opening and operating shelters, case management for those experiencing loss, mobile feeding sites for those working in disaster-affected areas, and more.
