NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma student-athletes excelled in the classroom during the fall 2012 semester as 315 Sooners were named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
Each of the 315 OU student-athletes honored earned above a 3.0 GPA during the Fall 2012 semester. OU's 315 honorees represented a record number and included 61 student-athletes who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
The Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll is an inclusive honor for varsity sports sponsored by the membership of the league. More than 2,500 student-athletes each semester have been named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in the Conference's 17-year tenure.
