Gymnastics Single-Meet Tickets On Sale

Single-meet tickets for men's and women's gymnastics meets cost just $8 for the general public.

Jan. 9, 2013

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's and women's gymnastics single-meet tickets are now on sale. General admission tickets are $8 apiece while youth and senior citizen tickets are $5 each.

To order, fans can call (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-GoOU or online.

Single meet family packs are available for $8 each (minimum 4 tickets) and include admission, hot dog, popcorn and drink. For $10 per ticket (minimum 10 tickets), fans can purchase Southwest Dairy Farmer birthday packs, which includes a $5 concession card and a gift bag for each attendee and a special birthday gift and in-game recognition for the birthday celebrant.

Season ticket packages to either four women's meets or three men's meets are already on sale, as are tickets to the Women's NCAA Regional hosted by the Sooners in the Lloyd Noble Center on April 6.

Coming off its fourth Big 12 Championship in the last five years in 2012, the Sooner women's squad will host four regular season meets this year, competing against Denver (Jan. 18), UCLA (Feb. 22), Arizona (March 8) and Stanford and North Carolina (March 10). Oklahoma has advanced to the NCAA Championships each of the past nine years, finishing in the top 10 in the nation each of the past six years under head coach K.J. Kindler.

"We believe some of the most artistic teams in the country will be showcased at the Lloyd Noble Center this season," Kindler said. "These teams will be incredibly entertaining to watch and will provide an incredibly competitive and challenging environment for the Sooners."

The 2012 NCAA national runner-up Oklahoma men's team will host three meets in 2013, including contests against Minnesota (Feb. 16), Air Force (Feb. 23) and Ohio State (March 23). Led by head coach Mark Williams, OU has finished in the top three nationally each of the last 12 seasons, and boasts five national titles over that span.

"This upcoming season is a great opportunity to see this young Sooner team compete against strong Big Ten teams and Air Force," Williams said. "We look forward to again competing well enough to challenge for a national championship."
