The McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics represents the heart of the OU Athletics Department.
 
Housed on the north side of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, the McClendon Center contains the department's administrative offices and core student-athlete services.
 
Oklahoma's stadium renovation project made possible the long-standing goal of refurbishing and expanding the north-side facilities including the study halls, classrooms and learning laboratories of the award-winning Prentice Gautt Academic Center and the offices and meeting rooms used by the Director of Athletics and the Athletics Department staff.
 
In addition to administrative and academic offices, the McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics houses the Sooner Club and development staff, marketing, promotions, licensing, graphic design, spirit, communications, publications and compliance staff. The Athletics Business Office, Sooner Sports Properties and numerous coaches' offices are also located within the center.
 
The center was named to recognize a gift from Aubrey K. and Katie McClendon of Oklahoma City, who asked that it also honor Aubrey's parents, Joe C. and Carole McClendon of Oklahoma City, and maternal grandparents, Aubrey M. Kerr, Sr. and Jewel J. Kerr.
 
The main entrance to the McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics is located in the middle of the north side of the stadium, directly adjacent to the reflecting pool and the McCasland Field House.
 
Visitor parking is available immediately west of the stadium on the second level of the Asp Avenue parking garage.
