The University of Oklahoma recognizes the needs of persons with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, and continues to make every effort to accommodate individuals consistent with both ADA and State of Oklahoma accessibility mandates. In addition, the University of Oklahoma strives to accommodate the individual needs of guests with disabilities and has adopted the following ticket policies.
Accessible Seating
A wheelchair user and companion will be permitted, subject to availability, to exchange tickets that they have purchased for accessible and companion seats in a manner that affords them reasonable accommodation and accessibility. Patrons who do not require wheelchair accessible seating but require other special accommodations may also exchange tickets for alternative locations that better accommodate their needs.
Season Tickets
Season tickets in accessible locations that are held by current wheelchair users and their companions or patrons requiring special accommodations can be renewed in the same manner as customers without disabilities. Wheelchair users and their companion(s) shall be afforded seating locations from among the available wheelchair locations, subject to availability and applicable donation levels.
Single-Game Tickets
Season tickets are currently sold out; the University of Oklahoma is unable to offer tickets for sale on a single game basis. If single game tickets are acquired by a patron with a disability during a special sale or otherwise, please see information on exchanging for accessible seating.
Exchanges
If wheelchair accessible or special accommodation seating is needed, whether a ticket is purchased from the ticket office or otherwise acquired, a person may contact the Box Office Manager at (405) 325-8451 to arrange for the exchange of tickets in advance of the game or on game day. Exchanges can be made at the OU Athletics Ticket Office on the west side of Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Subject to availability, the ticket office will use its best efforts to provide accessible seating in a location comparable to the original tickets. Ticket exchanges are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Likewise, a person who has ticket(s) in wheelchair accessible seating who does not need such seating must bring in their tickets for exchange prior to the game or on game day when Will Call opens to the OU Athletics Ticket Office on the west side of Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Seats Reserved Exclusively for Individuals with Disabilities
No season or individual game tickets for accessible or companion locations will be sold or exchanged to guests without disabilities (other than non-disabled companions).
Parking
Disability parking on main campus is limited. Reserved
disability parking is available for a fee and is located
in the parking facility connected to the west side
of the stadium. Please call OU Parking at (405) 325-3311.
Shuttle From LNC
The disability shuttle originates at
the Lloyd Noble Center and unloads on Asp Avenue, immediately
west of the stadium, by Gates 1 through 4. Because
of the high demand for the shuttle service, the service
is restricted to those patrons who have a disability
and one (1) caretaker for riders needing additional
assistance. Patrons
with a disability may ride the disability shuttle for
$2 round trip. The shuttle runs three hours prior to kickoff and two afters following the conclusion of the game.
Elevator Passes
The season ticket holder must provide a doctor's note
stating that an elevator is required due to a medical
condition. This letter must be presented to the ticket
office prior to the day of the event. For more information,
please call the OU Athletics Ticket Office toll-free
at (800) 456-GoOU.
Guest Service Kiosks
Kiosks are located near gates 1, 5, 7, 11 and 12 and
in the east and west upper decks. The kiosks provide
fans with a convenient location to obtain information,
offer suggestions, voice concerns and request assistance
during games.
