Requests
|
|
The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department encourages
and supports organizations, programs and activities
which strengthen the communities in which our Sooner
families live, work and learn. OU coaches, student-athletes
and administrators are dedicated to working with your
group to help build champions throughout our community.

Poster
& Schedule Cards |

The OU Athletics Department produces promotional posters
and schedule cards for Sooner teams throughout the
year. These items are available free of charge at locations
within the OU Athletics Department on the Norman campus
and can also be requested by mail for Sooner fans outside
the area. Please view the
promotions
page for more information.
 |
Charitable
Item Request |

You can apply to have an item donated to
your non-profit or charity organization to benefit
your group or the community. Please note that the OU
Athletics Department does not give away signed footballs,
basketballs, or helmets. If you wish to send your own
ball or helmet to be signed, please select that option
when you submit your request (after your application
has been approved).
The OU Athletics Department WILL NOT accept requests
from:
Organizations that discriminate on the basis
of race, color, creed, gender, or national origin
Individuals (donations are only provided to
OU, charitable, educational or non-profit organizations
-- not individuals)
Organizations or programs designed to influence
legislation or elect candidates to public office
Organizations outside of the United States
In-state organizations that are not OU, a charitable,
educational or non-profit entity
Out-of-state organizations that are not registered
as a non-profit entity
Organizations that do not adhere to NCAA rules
and regulations
Although the OU Athletics Department attempts to
satisfy every request, the high demand does not afford
a guarantee that your request will be fulfilled.

Speaking
Requests |

Sooner athletes are a special group of students. They
are Big 12 Champions, NCAA All-Americans and NCAA Champions.
They are also available at your request for speaking
engagements. This includes talking to a
class about the importance of staying in
school and staying away from drugs, or refereeing at
your school's field day events, or visiting patients
at a nursing home, or serving food and signing autographs
at Parents Weekend. You may also select
coaches or administrators to speak to your group. We
can not guarantee that a speaker will be available
for your event.

How
to Make a Request |

To expedite the processing of your request and ensure
NCAA compliance, the OU Athletics Department requires
all organizations to submit requests online.
Submitting your request online is simple and
will only take a few minutes. Please
allow two to four weeks for requests to be processed.
Do not submit a request if your event is a week
or less away.
1.
Register
your organization with the OU Athletics
Compliance Office. Your organization will be reviewed
to ensure that it is a non-profit, charitable,
educational or OU organization. Once your organization
application has been approved, you will receive an
email from the OU Athletics Department with your username
and password.
2.
Log
in to the system with your username/password and
submit your request. You will receive an email confirmation
that your request has been approved or denied. You
may also log in to the system at any time to check
its status.

Please

Youth athletics organizations that include prospects
OR other organizations that include only young people
defined by the NCAA as prospects (young people in grades
nine and up who have yet to enroll full-time in a university)
or their teachers or coaches.
If you have questions or would like more clarification
on the applicable NCAA rules, please contact the OU
