Autographed Switzer Center Mural Poster
Upon entering the Barry Switzer Center, Sooner fans are greeted by an enormous mural which traces the rich history of Oklahoma football.

With the dedication of the building in 1999, the OU Athletics Department released a set of posters featuring the historic mural. Now is your chance to bid on one of the original posters signed by Coach Switzer himself.

The second in the series of three commemorative posters, it measures 18 1/8" wide by 19 1/8" tall and features the original middle portion of the mural which depicted legendary head coaches Switzer, Bennie Owen and Bud Wilkinson. The actual mural has since been updated.
  
Completed in December of 1998 by nationally renowned sports artist Ted Watts, the mural highlights outstanding individuals and events that have helped shape one of the most recognized traditions in all of college football.

Adrian Peterson Autographed OU Football
The OU Athletics Department is offering fans the opportunity to bid on an OU football signed by Sooner great Adrian Peterson.
 
Peterson finished his career at Oklahoma as the third-leading rusher in school history with 4,045 yards. In 2004, he set an NCAA freshman record and eclipsed the OU standard for most rushing yards in a season with 1,925. He had the highest finish ever by a freshman in the Heisman voting (second) and was a consensus All-American.

Now with the Minnesota Vikings, Peterson is one of the most dominant running backs in the NFL. He led the league in rushing and set a new Vikings' single-season record with 1,760 yards in 2008. The NFL's Rookie of the Year in his first season, Peterson set a new NFL single-game record for rushing yards with 296 vs. San Diego on Nov. 4, 2007.

While each was an outstanding player in his own right, the Selmon brothers are most noted for the tight bond they shared and what they accomplished as a group. Their legend extends far beyond the numbers they put up. The Selmons struck fear in opposing offenses on the field while exhibiting genuine class and character off it.

The pride of Eufaula, Okla., they combined to earn five consensus All-America distinctions (Lucious in 1973, Dewey and Lee Roy in 1974 and '75) and won three national awards (Lucious -- 1973 Chevrolet ABC Defensive Player of the Year, Lee Roy -- 1975 Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy winner). Each was also a two-time all-conference selection.
 
With at least one Selmon on the roster from 1971 through 1975, Oklahoma posted a 54-4 overall record, won four Big Eight titles and captured the program's fourth and fifth national championships.

All items and experiences are provided and coordinated by the OU Athletics Department. Autographed items and memorabilia offered on the official auction at SoonerSports.com are accompanied by notarized certificates of authenticity. Each item is tracked with a unique auction code and verified via the master auction list maintained by the department.
 
NCAA Rules
Please understand OU's obligation and commitment to abide by NCAA rules and regulations. Complying with these rules will ensure that OU student-athletes remain eligible for competition. Failure to comply places the entire University of Oklahoma Athletics Department in violation of NCAA rules and jeopardizes our institution's good standing with the NCAA.
 
• Due to NCAA Rules, prospect-aged athletes (grades 9-12) are not eligible to participate as a bidder, an auction item winner or guest of the auction item winner.
 
• Re-distribution of auctioned items must have written approval from the OU Athletics Compliance Office. Memorabilia may not be re-sold for any purpose without prior OU Athletics Compliance Office approval.
 
• OU is prohibited by the NCAA from auctioning items displaying a current student-athlete's name, picture or likeness (e.g., name on jersey, name or likeness on a bobble-head doll). For example, game-used jerseys will have the nameplate removed by OU Athletics Equipment unless the student-athlete has exhausted his/her eligibility.
 
By clicking submit when you bid on an auction, you confirm your knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations pertaining to this request and agree to abide by all said guidelines. You understand that the OU Athletics Department reserves the right to request the return of memorabilia or autographed items if guidelines are not followed.
 
Auction Experiences
Winning bidder must be an OU fan and supporter and must dress and act accordingly and in a professional and courteous manner while participating in this experience. At the sole discretion of the OU Athletics Department, if at any time during the experience the winning bidder is not acting in a professional and courteous manner, OU may end the experience and no refund or additional services will be offered to the winning bidder whether or not the entire experience was completed. Winning bidder will be required to sign an indemnification waiver prior to participating.
