Kerr Foundation Computer Centers |
In the 21st century, computers have become an integral
part of the learning experience. Students need access
to computers and their resources almost daily. The
Computer Centers are here to meet the technological
needs of each athlete. We supply state-of-the-art equipment
along with the support necessary to succeed.
There are currently two computer labs within the Prentice Gautt Academic Center. They provide our athletes with access to nearly 100 computers. We also have approximately 40 laptops that are available for checkout when the lab is closed or unavailable due to travel.
Student-athletes also have access to a large amount of storage space on our network server. This offers plenty of room in order to save all necessary documents and other files. The Computer Center also provides presentation equipment such as an LCD projector and screen.
The Athletic Computer Centers have been a model for other universities around the country. We plan on being a leader in the future as well. Upgrades are scheduled annually for both centers along with a facelift for the entire facility. A deep commitment from the Athletic Department ensures that the excellence in the Computer Centers will continue for a long time.
