The college who brings the most amount of people and the college that brings the highest percentage of people in their college will each win $1,000 towards their college. There will be two winners, one for the college who brings the most people and one for the college who brings the highest percentage of people.
The dean of the college will serve as our honorary coach for the evening.
All students receive free admission and will be able to sign in for your college at the marketing table on the north concourse. Students will be able to sign in through end of 2nd quarter.
You must request tickets for your staff and their friends or families. There will be complimentary tickets and we will calculate based on the “scanned” number.
The school who has the most students in attendance will get the chance for one of their students who attended the game to win $500. Once the season has ended, the school with the most students in attendance will be determined and a students name from that college will randomly be selected to win $500!
The winners will be announced at the conclusion of the women's basketball season.
Please submit all information by December 28.
From Coach Coale
The third annual Dean's Challenge brought over 2,800 faculty, staff and students last year into the Lloyd Noble Center. We could feel the energy in the building!
Our players receive so much support from you off the court, and they were excited to see you supporting them on the court as well. We can't thank you enough for making the program a success!
This year, we want to again offer an incentive for students. At the end of the season, the school with the most students in attendance will have one of their students who attended the game chosen to win $500. The student will be randomly selected after the challenge is complete.
We cannot wait to welcome you back to the Lloyd Noble Center again this year. Thank you for all you do for our student-athletes!
Oklahoma Women's Basketball
Do we need to request tickets for our students?
No, they receive free admission with their student ID. The student entrance is located on the north side of Lloyd Noble Center.
What if some of our faculty/staff already have season tickets?
We can provide you vouchers that they can turn in so their attendance can count towards your college. They can use their season tickets and you will not need to request a ticket.
Where are the seats located?
These are general admission tickets. General admission seating is located in the upper bowl. Student seating is available at the north end of the court (directly behind the basket) with overflow seating available in the upper bowl.
Can I only request tickets for faculty and staff?
No. You may request tickets for their families and friends as well.
Is there an opportunity for us to hold an event for our faculty/staff prior to the game?
Space is limited but pre-game receptions have been held prior to the game. Please let us know if this is something you'd be interested in. If available, we could provide the space, tables, and chairs. Each college would be responsible for the cost of food. Groups have also purchased vouchers for the concession stand. Please contact Alicia Mackey if you are interested in hosting an event.
When do doors open?
Doors open and hour and a half prior to game time.
Is there a charge for parking?
Do I need to request tickets for the individual serving as honorary coach?
Can the dean select someone to serve as honorary coach if he or she is unable to attend?
Yes. Per NCAA rules, the individual must be over 18 and not a high-school student.
Will our school be recognized during the game?
Yes, your name will be on the videoboard at halftime.
