NORMAN -- Oklahoma's stadium renovation project reached another milestone Friday, as OU held a ceremonial "topping out" ceremony on Owen Field.

Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione, head coach Bob Stoops and quarterback Baker Mayfield addressed the crowd of supporters, donors, season ticket holders and others instrumental to the project amidst the backdrop of the construction in the south end zone.

After the ceremony, everyone in attendance, including current members of the football team, were invited to sign the beam that will be placed at the top of the new south end zone structure.
