NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma has selected Levy Restaurants as the official dining and hospitality partner for OU Athletics in a multi-year deal beginning with the 2016-17 season. Levy, the premier hospitality provider for sports and entertainment venues across North America, will enhance fan experiences in premium dining, concessions and catering operations across OU’s athletics facilities, including Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and Lloyd Noble Center.

A first for the fan experience this season, the new south end zone area features social gathering spaces with all-inclusive menus from the club level lounge to the viewing terrace. Levy has partnered with OU to craft the hospitality program for that space.

“Levy Restaurants brings to OU one of the best reputations in sports and entertainment dining,” said Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione. “Fans who have visited the premium spaces at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City are already familiar with Levy and aware of fine offerings they present. We’re constantly on the lookout for ways to serve and impress our fans. Levy has the experience and know-how to help us do that and we’re proud to be partnering with them.”

“The opportunity to redefine the college gameday experience is one of the most exciting things happening in sports today,” said Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy Restaurants. “We’re honored to be selected by the University of Oklahoma, which has a vision for setting a new benchmark and designing the new Sooner hospitality experience together.”

Levy Senior Executive Chef Mark Mabry and Executive Chef Jeremy Seal will lead the dining team at OU, tapping into Oklahoma’s passion for barbecue, bison and fan favorites. Notable debuts on this season’s menu include the Sooner Sausage (infused with bacon and barbecue sauce, and topped with a bacon jalapeño jam) and the Boomer Brat. Sooner Nachos – always a fan favorite – will get an upgrade. Crimson tortilla chips will be topped with house made chili, nacho cheese, pickled jalapenos and sour cream.

New this season to premium seating areas, fans will be treated to all-inclusive chef tables with seasonal Oklahoma inspired menus. Fans in the new loge seats in the south end zone will enjoy in-seat service featuring bison dogs and the Jason White Southern Burger with Sooner ranch kettle chips, while never having to miss a snap.

Levy Restaurants’ portfolio of collegiate partners spans all five major athletics conferences: University of Colorado Boulder, Iowa State, University of Missouri, The Ohio State University, Oregon State, Purdue, Texas A&M, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Notre Dame and University of New Mexico.
