SSTV to Air 14 WBB Games in 2017-18
NORMAN – Sooner Sports TV powered by FOX Sports will air 14 University of Oklahoma women’s basketball games during the 2017-18 season, ensuring nationwide coverage for all of the Sooners’ home games.
Oklahoma’s schedule on Sooner Sports TV begins with the opening tipoff and exhibition matchups against Central Oklahoma (Nov. 3) and Southwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 7). OU’s regular-season opener against Belmont (Nov. 10) will air exclusively on SoonerSports.tv.
SSTV will also produce OU’s games against SMU (Nov. 17), Florida (Dec. 3), South Florida (Dec. 9), New Mexico (Dec. 16), Texas (Dec. 28), TCU (Jan. 4), Kansas (Jan. 24), Kansas State (Jan. 31), West Virginia (Feb. 3), Iowa State (Feb. 21) and Texas Tech (Feb. 24).
Sooner Sports TV’s programming is delivered on a variety of FOX Sports outlets, including FS Oklahoma, FS Southwest and FOX College Sports. Sooner Sports TV programming showcases a variety of original programming and studio shows, including coaches' shows, weekly magazine shows and press conferences.
In addition, live webcasts and on-demand video content including highlights, features, interviews, classic videos and more are distributed on SoonerSports.tv. With a monthly, annual or three-year subscription to SoonerSports.tv, starting as low as $9.99 monthly, fans have access to full game replays for all OU sports, as well as live coverage of games not available on TV, weekly coaches shows, an exclusive second screen experience for OU football games.
The Big 12 Conference, in conjunction with FOX Sports, previously announced that the Sooners’ home contests against Baylor (Jan. 14) and Oklahoma State (Jan. 20) will air on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Network, guaranteeing that each of OU’s 18 home games are set for a national TV audience. Oklahoma begins the 2017-18 season Friday, Nov. 3 with an exhibition against Central Oklahoma. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CT.
