NORMAN – Oklahoma men's basketball will take part in the 2019 Hall of Fame Classic next season in Kansas City, Mo. The two-day, four-team tournament will take place Nov. 25 and 26 at Sprint Center.

The Sooners are joined in the field by Butler, Missouri and Stanford. The matchups and television designations will be announced at a later time.

"We’re thrilled to be a part of the 2019 Hall of Fame Classic," said OU head coach Lon Kruger. "The tournament field will provide our team with a strong early-season challenge against a group of well-coached, high-level programs. Kansas City has always been a tremendous host during the Big 12 Championship and we’re looking forward to a similar experience in November at the Sprint Center.”

The tournament provides a potential matchup with former Big 8 and Big 12 foe Missouri. The Sooners and Tigers have faced off 210 times with Oklahoma holding a 113-97 lead in the series.

OU owns a 3-2 advantage against Butler, most recently defeating the Bulldogs in the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis.

Oklahoma is 1-2 all-time against Stanford with all three matchups taking place at neutral sites. The Sooners and Cardinal have not met since 1997.

Select tickets are on sale now through www.axs.com or www.halloffameweekend.com and will remain on sale through April 9. Additional tickets will be available beginning on Sept. 9 via the same on-line ticket outlets.
