NORMAN – The Oklahoma men’s basketball team finalized its television broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 season on Wednesday as Sooner Sports TV powered by Fox Sports announced it will broadcast six OU home games.
Oklahoma’s schedule on Sooner Sports TV begins with an exhibition contest versus East Central on Nov. 8. Sooner Sports TV will also produce OU’s games against Nebraska-Omaha (Nov. 12), Ball State (Nov. 15), North Texas (Nov. 30), UTSA (Dec. 4) and Northwestern State (Dec. 19). The Sooner Sports TV matchups will air live on Fox Sports Oklahoma with the exception of the game against Ball State, which will air on Fox Sports Southwest Plus. Streaming will also be available through the FOX Sports GO app with cable package authentication.
The Sooners will play 25 regular-season games on an ESPN network – the most in program history. In addition to all 18 Big 12 games airing on an ESPN network, the Sooners will be featured nationally in seven non-conference contests.
All three games at PK80 in Portland, Ore., will be broadcast on an ESPN network, beginning with the opening-round game against Arkansas (Nov. 23, ESPN2). Oklahoma will compete in a nationally televised game for three-straight weekends in December – playing in Los Angeles, Calif., against USC (Dec. 8, ESPN2), at Wichita State (Dec. 16, ESPN2) and hosting Northwestern (Dec. 22, ESPN2). The Sooners’ Big 12/SEC Challenge showdown at Alabama on Jan. 27 will air on ESPN.
All 25 of the ESPN network contests will also be available through the ESPN app, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
