NORMAN – Oklahoma opened the NCAA Norman Regional by carding a 5-over 293 on Monday at the par-72, 6,367-yard Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. The Sooners are tied for 11th place in the 18-team event with two days remaining.

The top six schools from the Norman Regional will advance to the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. With 54 holes to play, Oklahoma is six strokes out of sixth place.
