Oklahoma improves to 8-2 on the season and 6-1 in the Big 12.
For the eighth time in 10 games, OU did not allow an offensive touchdown in the opening quarter. Only Texas Tech (10/6) and Notre Dame (10/27) accomplished the feat this year against the Sooners.
OU has won six straight Big 12 games in the same season since posting a seven-game streak in 2008.
OU has won 32 straight games when leading at halftime, including a 7-0 mark this year. OU led 31-17 tonight.
West Virginia's Geno Smith came into the game with just three interceptions on the season. He had two in the first half Saturday.
Jalen Saunders (123 yards) and Justin Brown (112 yards) became the first OU duo to each go over 100 receiving yards in a game since Ryan Broyles (171) and Kenny Stills (101) did it against Kansas State (10/29/11).
  Individual Notes

Landry Jones
Jones finished the game with a school-record 554 passing yards. It's his 25th career game with at least 300+ passing yards, his 11th game with 400+ yards and his second with 500+. He held the record of 505 set against Kansas State (10/29/11).
Jones' 6 touchdown passes tied a school record he set against Tulsa (9/19/09).
Jones is now fifth in NCAA history and second in Big 12 annals in career total offense with 15,262 yards. He passed Hawaii's Colt Brennan (14,740; 2005-07) and Texas' Colt McCoy (14,824; 2006-09).
Jones now has 117 passing touchdowns moving past Texas' Colt McCoy (112; 2006-09), Florida's Danny Wuerffel (114; 1993-96), Louisiana Tech's Tim Rattay (115, 1997-99) and USC's Matt Barkley (116; present) for sixth all-time in the NCAA and second in the Big 12.
Jones has thrown for 3,245 yards this season, becoming just the third QB in FBS history with 3,000 passing yards in four different seasons, joining Boise State's Kellen Moore and Hawaii's Timmy Chang.
Jones had 270 passing yards in the first half. OU is now 22-1 all-time when he throws for 200+ yards in the first half.
OU is 30-2 when he throws for at least two TD passes.
Kenny Stills
Stills tied an OU record with four touchdown receptions, a record shared by Jermaine Gresham (Texas A&M, 11/3/07) and Trent Smith (Kansas, 10/13/01).
Stills now has 23 career TD receptions, moving past Malcolm Kelly (2005-07) for fourth all-time at OU.
Jalen Saunders
Saunders' 76-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter was his first as a Sooner and the 16th of his career.
The 76-yard TD pass was the longest by OU since Landry Jones to Cameron Kenney covered 86 yards against Oklahoma State (11/27/10).
Saunders finished with 123 receiving yards, the seventh 100-yard receiving game of his career and his second of the season.
