NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooners travel to Tampa, Fla., for a two-game, mid week series on Tuesday and Wednesday at South Florida. Both games are slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on the Sooners' flagship station, KOKC 1520 AM (Tuesday's game will be joined in progress at 7 p.m.).
Following the two mid weeks games, OU begins Big 12 play at Nebraska (14-2, 3-0). The series begins on Friday, March 21 at 2:05 p.m. and continues on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. The three-game series will conclude on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Sooners recorded a 3-3 mark last week and started with a 3-1 victory over Dallas Baptist on Tuesday. The Sooners recorded their 11th straight victory with an 11-5 win over Northern Illinois on Wednesday. Both mid week games were played at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. OU then returned home to suffer a 3-1 series loss to Washington State (13-5), concluding with a 14-2 victory in the series finale.
The Sooners' 11-game winning streak was snapped on Friday against Washington State ... OU has won 12 of the last 15 games and has connected for 10 or more hits in each of the last five games (13 times overall) ... The Sooners tied the second-highest hit total of the season with 18 base knocks against Washington State in the series finale ... OU's 14 runs against Washington State on March 16 marked the sixth time this season that it scored 10 or more runs ... In 19 1/3 innings of relief against Washington State, the OU bullpen, consisting of six hurlers, allowed one earned run and struck out 13 Cougars.

RHP Andrew Doyle | Sophomore, 6-3, 210 | Rock Island, Ill. (Alleman H.S.)
Sophomore right-hander Andrew Doyle made two appearances last week and lasted seven innings in each start to record a 2-0 record. On March 11 in Frisco, Texas, Doyle tossed seven innings against Dallas Baptist and struck out four batters. Doyle limited the Patriots to one run off five hits and three walks. On March 16 in the series finale against Washington State, Doyle helped OU avoid the series sweep with another seven-inning start. Doyle struck out seven Cougars to improve to 4-1 this season and surrendered two runs off four hits and three walks. In last week's two appearances, the sophomore posted a 1.93 ERA and held opponents to a .200 batting average.
The Rock Island, Ill., native leads OU with 29 strikeouts and four wins. In 32 innings pitched over five appearances (four starts), Doyle has a 2.25 ERA and a .227 opponent batting average.
Aaron Baker | 1B/C | Sophomore | 6-3, 225, L/R | Denton, Texas (Denton H.S.)
The sophomore hit safely in each of the Sooners' five games last week, highlighted by a season-high four hits against Northern Illinois on March 12. Baker also drove in a season-best three runs in the game against the Huskies and has 15 RBIs in his last 13 games, including five multi-RBI games. Baker hit .435 last week in the five games and drove in six runs off 10 hits (two doubles and two triples). The sophomore also had a .696 slugging percentage and a.500 on-base percentage.
After starting the season with one hit in the first seven games of the season, Baker has hit safely in 11 of the last 13 games. The 2007 Freshman All-American ranks third on the team with 15 RBIs and is hitting .281 so far this season.
