HONOLULU -- No. 13 Oklahoma left the Aloha State with three victories in three days after beating tournament host Hawaii 74-49 in Sunday's Rainbow Wahine Showdown finale.

Morgan Hook scored 16 points while Aaryn Ellenberg and Maddie Manning had 12 each as the Sooners pulled away from the Rainbow Wahine in the second half.

"We made layups in the second half," OU head coach Sherri Coale said. "We missed so many layups in the first half. We had a big, emotional play from Jo [McFarland]. She saved a ball that was going out of bounds and we made a 3 off it. Then we came down the subsequent defensive possession and Jo took a charge. We came down and scored off of it and then came down to Nic [Griffin] three times in a row.

"I think that was the difference in the game. It just looked like we were all waiting for something great to happen and once it did we all relaxed and got caught up in the act."

OU never trailed in the game and led 28-25 at halftime. The Sooners used a 16-0 scoring run lasting 6 ½ minutes of the second half to push its lead from 59-37 with 8 minutes remaining. From there, Oklahoma hit seven of its final 11 field goal attempts and did not allow a free throw attempt.

OU junior center Nicole Griffin had all eight of her points in the second half.

Hook and Ellenberg were named to the all-tournament team.

Oklahoma showcased a versatile offense throughout the weekend. Griffin had a career-high 19 points as the Sooners scored 42 points in the paint in their battle against Arkansas on Friday. Ellenberg made seven of the Sooners' school-record 17 3-pointers shot in a rout of Oregon Saturday.

"Building blocks," Coale said. "We made some big strides forward. We are by no stretch of the imaginations there yet."
