NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooners (17-7-1) return home to begin an eight-game home stand this week.  That stretch kicks off with UT-Arlington (7-15) on Tuesday, March. 25 at 7 p.m. and the game will feature $.50 hot dog and coke night.

OU's C.J. Blue (4-0, 3.26 ERA) is expected to start against UTA's Drew Clementz (0-0, 1.59 ERA).

Tuesday's game will be broadcast live on the internet via Oklahoma All-Access,'s premium site, with Chuck Kelly calling the play-by-play.

The game will also be web cast live on Oklahoma All-Access and live stats will be provided.

Seats remain for Tuesday's game and gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.  Tickets are available at the gate, online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-GoOU.  The office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located on the plaza level of the Asp Avenue parking garage. 

In addition, conference season ticket packages and all remaining single-game tickets for the 2008 OU baseball season are now on sale.
Conference Packs include a ticket for all 12 conference home games and are available in the reserved or general admission sections. Reserved box seats are $75 and general admission conference packs are $50. Single-game ticket prices are $10 for reserved seats and $7 for general admission. Youth and senior citizens single game general admission tickets are $5.00.

Friday  - First 200 fans receive free OU crocs
Saturday - The first 250 fans receive free OU mini bat (team autographs after the game)
Sunday - Kids run the bases after the game and can play catch in the outfield (inflatable games available near entrance).

OU continues its eight-game home stand with a three-game set with No. 20 Baylor from March 28-30 (6:35 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m.).  The series is the Big 12 home opener for the Sooners. 

The home stand will also feature a mid week game on April 1 vs. Dallas Baptist and a three-game series with No. 13 Texas (April 4-6).

OU recorded a 2-2-1 record ... The Sooners swept a two-game, mid week series at South Florida and then began Big 12 play at No. 22 Nebraska over the weekend.  OU lost game one 4-2 on a walk-off homer in the ninth inning and then dropped a 4-3 decision in game two.  The Sooners and Huskers tied game three, 8-8, after 10 innings and the Big 12 travel rule was enforced.

For the first time since April 22, 2001, the OU baseball team recorded a tie on Sunday afternoon at No. 22 Nebraska.  After 10 innings of play, the game ended in an 8-8 tie after the Big 12 travel rule was enforced.

Senior Mike Gosse extended his hitting streak to 11 games on Sunday and has 20 hits in that span.

The Sooners have 10 or more hits in eight of the last 10 games ... OU ranks third in the Big 12 with a .316 team batting average.

The Sooners were 11-0 when scoring first this season before traveling to Nebraska.  OU scored first in the series opener but fell 4-2 on a walk-off, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth.  The Sooners also scored first in the third and final game, but tied the Huskers, 8-8.

OU have also scored in the first inning on 10 occasions and hold an 8-1-1 record in those contests.
