The Sooners finished 3-2 last week and capped it off with a 22-4 run rule over visiting No. 11 Missouri on Sunday. The win helped OU avoid the series sweep after the Tigers edged the Sooners in the first two games (9-4 on Friday and 6-5 in 10 innings on Saturday). Earlier in the week, the Sooners remained perfect in mid-week action with a pair of wins at TCU (5-4 in 12 innings) on Tuesday and at home on Wednesday over Southern Nazarene (15-3 in seven innings).

Sunday's 22 runs is tied for the second most by an OU team in a Big 12 regular season game and tied the mark set in 2003 against Kansas State (W, 22-6) ... That game on May 11 was also the last time OU run ruled a Big 12 team during a regular season game ... The Sooners loaded the bases six times on Sunday and connected for base hits on five occasions ... OU's 22-4 victory marked the largest margin of victory in a Big 12 regular season game for the Sooners ... The Sooners connected for more hits with runners in scoring position on Sunday (17), than the previous two games (8).
