NORMAN, Okla. -- continues to open the OU video vault with its latest classic content series, Sooners Later: Stories of Champions.
Throughout the year, Sooners Later will catch up with some of Oklahoma's all-time greats and trace where their lives have taken them since they donned the crimson and cream. Wrestling national champion Dan Chaid, World Series champion Bobby Witt, and football All-Americans Ken Mendenhall and Steve Zabel are just a few of the legends already interviewed, with many more to come.
The series kicks off with Terry Evans, who made his mark as a player for Billy Tubbs' men's basketball teams in the early 1990s and currently leads his own program at Division II power Central Oklahoma. Take a look back at the career of OU's all-time assists leader and find out how he's applying the principles he learned from Tubbs to his own program now.
With a tradition as rich as Oklahoma's, there are endless Stories of Champions to be told, so stay tuned in the coming months as we reveal more.
