Oklahoma held its senior night Monday, celebrating the careers of Portia Durett, Aaryn Ellenberg, Nicole Griffin and Morgan Hook in a postgame celebration.
Durrett made her second career and second consecutive appearance in Oklahoma’s starting lineup.
The win was the 399th for Sherri Coale at the University of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma has won 18 of its last 19 meetings with Texas Tech, including 10 straight in Norman.
Texas Tech’s 32 points scored were the fewest ever allowed by Oklahoma against a Big 12 opponent. Oklahoma led 36-17 at halftime. The total was the Lady Raiders lowest of the season. Texas Tech scored 38 against Oklahoma, its third lowest, when the two teams met in Lubbock.
Oklahoma held Texas Tech without a score of any kind from 12:14 remaining in the second half until 2:20 remained.
Oklahoma’s 15 3-pointers was its highest total since hitting a program record 17 against Oregon on Nov. 24, 2012.
Oklahoma’s 55-point margin of victory was its 13th largest home win in program history. It was the Sooners' largest win over a conference opponent, besting a 50-point margin of victory scored over Oklahoma State in 2004.
Oklahoma's eight turnovers were a season low.
Ellenberg led the Sooners in scoring for the third straight game. Ellenberg have averaged 24.3 points per game in that span.
Ellenberg hit four 3-pointers and now sits 27 shy of the NCAA career record of 392.
Kornet’s five 3-pointers were a single-game career best.
