• Samford was the fifth opponent this season for Oklahoma that the Sooners met for a first time (Stetson, Gonzaga, UMES and Fairfield). OU improved to 5-0 in those games.

• For the fourth time this season, Oklahoma shot 50 percent or better from the field. OU also shot its best percentage of the season from 3-point range (46.7 percent). The Sooners were 23-of-46 on field goals, including 7-of-15 on 3-pointers.

• Oklahoma allowed Samford only three offensive rebounds and outscored the Bulldogs 16-0 on second-chance points.

• Oklahoma’s +25 rebound margin (46 to 21) was its highest of the season.

• Derica Wyatt made her first start in place on an injured Aaryn Ellenberg (concussion). Wyatt scored 11 points and ignited the offense with a 3-for-3 3-point performance in the first half.
