  Oklahoma Team Notes

Oklahoma dropped an 83-64 contest at Iowa State, falling to 14-7 on the year and to 5-4 in Big 12 play. ISU's 84 points were the most given up by OU this season.

The win was Iowa State's 20th straight at home. ISU is 13-0 at Hilton Coliseum this season.

After outscoring Oklahoma by 54 points from 3-point range in two ISU wins last year, the Cyclones' outscored the Sooners by 24 points from deep tonight. Iowa State was 11-for-27 from 3-point range while OU was 3-for-16. It was the 11th time ISU has made at least 10 treys in a game this season.

Iowa State broke open an 8-8 game by going on a 9-2 run to take a 17-10 lead with 14:28 left in the first half and never trailed afterward. The Cyclones led by as many as 25 (58-33).

Senior Andrew Fitzgerald, freshman Isaiah Cousins and junior Cameron Clark combined to go 13-for-26 (.500) from the field. The rest of the team went 13-for-45 (.289).

OU's bench scored 38 of its 64 points (59 percent).

The Sooners posted a 42-33 rebounding advantage over the Big 12 leader in rebounding margin entering the game. Iowa State came into the contest outboarding its foes by 6.7 per contest.

OU's 21 offensive rebounds were a season high. The Sooners held a 23-9 advantage in second-chance points.

Oklahoma is off until Saturday when it hosts Kansas at 3 p.m. CT at Lloyd Noble Center. The game will be televised by ESPN.

  Oklahoma Individual Notes

Senior F Andrew Fitzgerald
Fitzgerald led the Sooners in scoring for the first time this year with his season-high-tying 12-point effort. Fitzgerald was 5-for-11 from the field and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds in his 18 minutes. Over the last four games, he is averaging 7.0 points and 6.5 boards.
Freshman G Isaiah Cousins

Cousins matched a career-high with 10 points off the bench. His 25 minutes were his most in 14 games.
Junior G Cameron Clark
Clark also netted 10 points on 5-for-8 shooting, good for just his third double-digit scoring game of the year.
