|Head Coach Lon Kruger|
"Clearly a ballgame that Iowa State dictated from start to finish in pretty much every way. I thought they were sharp, and we weren't. They dictated offensively with their movement and attack, and had a lot of good looks early that they took advantage of. I thought they were sharp defensively. We didn't have much pop on the offensive end as well, and they beat us in pretty much every way. Fred [Hoiberg] has got them playing great, and it looks like they'll continue to get better."
On Iowa State's shooting from 3-point range:
"They're a good ball club because they space the floor very well, they have a lot of guys that can put the ball on the floor and create for others, and a lot of guys that can create shots. That's a good combination.
"They made good shots. We have to do a better job of getting up and guarding better. Anyone who's watched Iowa State play knows they do that very well, so it wasn't a surprise. They've done it well all year, and we didn't offer the resistance that you have to."
On how to defend Iowa State's 3-point shooting:
"It starts by guarding the ball much better. If you get beat off the dribble, then you're chasing all the time, trying to catch up and they're going to get open looks. We didn't do a good job of guarding the ball from the start and they were able to create good looks for each other. They have a lot of different guys that can make 3's, and they move the ball very well, play unselfishly and play good basketball."
