NORMAN, Okla. -- The No. 10 Oklahoma baseball team returned to L. Dale Mitchell Park for the first time in April to take on University of Arkansas-Little Rock, falling to the Trojans 5-2 in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.

Both teams stayed scoreless until the top of the third when UALR crossed the plate to make the score 1-0 on Bryson Thionnet's RBI-double.

The Trojans added another run in the top of the fourth thanks to a sacrifice fly by Chris Burk to gain a two-run advantage.

UALR came out hot in the top of the sixth when they scored three to bring the score to 5-0. Burk hit an RBI-double and Myles Parma followed with a two-run home run to left field.

Oklahoma scored its first run of the game in the bottom of the sixth when Jack Mayfield scored from third on a double play ball.

The Sooners loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh with a chance to cut into the lead. OU's Craig Aikin drew a walk to bring in a run with two outs, but the lone run was all Oklahoma could manage.

Junior Matt Oberste led the Sooners' offense going 2-for-3 with a double.
