NORMAN, Okla. – Season tickets for the University of Oklahoma baseball 2014 season are now on sale to the public through SoonerSports.com. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at 405-325-2424 or toll-free at 800-456-GoOU.
Reserved season tickets go for $165, while general admission cost $100.
After playing their final home game of the 2013 season, the Sooners went on to win the Big 12 Tournament Championship and NCAA Blacksburg Regional to reach the NCAA Super Regionals in Baton Rouge, La.
This season, Oklahoma will play host to 33 home games at L. Dale Mitchell Park beginning on “Opening Day” against Seton Hall on Friday, February 14. The schedule starts with five straight games at home, including the three-game series with the Pirates (Feb. 14-16) and a pair of mid-week contests against Arkansas Pine Bluff (Feb. 18-19).
In the fourth week of the season, the Sooners play their second five-game home stand with two games against Abilene Christian (Mar. 4-5) and a three-game series against Rutgers (Mar. 7-9). Soon after, Oklahoma plays eight straight in Norman as Belmont (Mar. 14-16), TCU (Mar. 18), UALR (Mar. 19) and Kansas State (Mar. 21-23) all visit.
As the calendar turns to April, the Sooners play the first in a five-game series with Oklahoma State on April 1, followed by a three-game set against CSU Bakersfield (Apr. 4-6), Oral Roberts (Apr. 8), and a three-game series against Texas (Apr. 11-13). In 2013, Oklahoma claimed its first series victory over the Longhorns since 1998.
The Big 12 schedule continues with a visit from West Virginia (Apr. 17-19) and Baylor (May 2-4), surrounding a non-conference match-up with Dallas Baptist (Apr. 29).
