NORMAN, Okla. – The 36th-ranked University of Oklahoma women’s tennis team hosts No. 35 Baylor University Saturday, April 13, and No. 32 TCU Sunday, April 14, for its final regular season home matches at Headington Family Tennis Center.

Both matches begin at 12 p.m.
“We will need to pick up the level of play again this weekend and be at our very best if we want to be able to compete with TCU and Baylor,” OU head coach David Mullins said.
Oklahoma (12-6, 4-2 Big 12) is 6-6 this season, with a 4-1 mark at home, against ranked opponents.
“If we can compete like we have the last few outings and be willing to be more disciplined than these team(s) then we will have a chance,” Mullins said. “Anything less than our best effort will not get it done.”
Hermon Brhane jumped 10 spots in singles to No. 69 in the latest ITA rankings. Emma Devine and Mia Lancaster made their doubles debut at No. 82 this week.
Devine and Lancaster hold a 5-0 record this season at the No. 3 doubles position.
Baylor (11-13, 4-1) defeated Stephen F. Austin, 6-1, in Waco, Texas, April 7. The Lady Bears are 2-6 on the road this season.
TCU (16-2, 5-0) is on a four-game winning streak including a shutout victory over Kansas, April 7, in Ft. Worth. TCU faces No. 33 Oklahoma State Friday, April 12, before heading to Norman.
