NORMAN, Okla. – The Oklahoma women’s tennis team heads to the west coast for two road matches this weekend. OU faces St. Mary’s College Friday, March 22, at 4 p.m. CT in Moraga, Calif., and University of California Santa Barbara Sunday, March 24, at 12:30 p.m. CT in Santa Barbara, Calif.

“We have two more great opportunities on the road this weekend,” OU head coach David Mullins said. “We need to start playing better away from home and this will be a great chance to prove to ourselves that we are getting tougher away from our home courts.”

Oklahoma is 2-4 on the road this season. The Sooners complete a four-game road trip this weekend.

OU (8-5, 2-2) improved two spots in the latest ITA Rankings to No. 26.

St. Mary’s College (7-7) fell to Tulsa, 4-3, Tuesday, March 19, in Moraga, Calif.

UC Santa Barbara (11-5) topped George Washington, 5-2, at home Friday, March 15.
