| Head Coach Patty Gasso
On winning the Big 12 title on Senior Day:
"It's something you hope your schedule can allow you to do. A sell-out, nice weather, sunny. The seniors and their families here to witness it, winning the Big 12 and the Bedlam battle, which is very important bragging rights, as well. Honoring those four seniors, who have just been tremendous across so many levels. To share that with so many on this day meant a lot."
On the senior class:
"They came in as freshmen and took over. They didn't turn around. The important thing to us as coaches is to see athletes get better every year. That's our goal, and that's what we fight for. Sometimes we push, sometimes they push back, sometimes we connect. I can say that each one of these athletes has improved throughout their careers. That's all we can do, really try to prepare them for the world outside the softball field."
| Senior Keilani Ricketts
On the final inning:
"It was definitely special being able to go out there. Usually it's Michelle's game to have. We were able to have a lead and they wanted me to come out and have a chance to throw on senior day."
|Senior Michelle Gascoigne|
On the day:
"It came full circle. It was cool that all four of us got to start, and Keilani got to [DP] today until the end when she came in. How we all got to play on our senior day. It was cool that we all got to play in the game."
