AUSTIN, Texas – Standout freshman Hayden McClain continues to make a big splash in his first year of competition wearing an Oklahoma uniform, finishing fifth in section B of the triple jump at the 87th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, which concluded its second day of competition on Friday.
McClain, who placed second at last week’s Baldy Castillo Invitational in the long jump, earned his finish in the triple jump after jumping 49-9.75.
