Oklahoma Football
Offensive Lineman Daryl Williams
Nov. 25, 2013

On the success OU had running the football against Kansas State:
“Always pleased to hit 300 (yards). I think we have been doing it for this past season, not 300 all the time, but we did it last game and the game before that, so it was a good thing.”

On finding success on the ground following the Baylor game:
“Obviously Baylor was a disappointment. We just had to re-group and get our mindset back on what we are good at and what we like to do, and that’s just being physical.”

On the offensive line maintaining its performance after injuries:
“It is that time of the year. The guys behind us know that once they get in, there shouldn’t be any difference. They just need to fill in for the person that got hurt or who is banged up.”

On establishing the running game against Oklahoma State:
“Every game it is crucial to establish the running game. I think both games we have lost, our running game wasn’t what it should have been. So it is always crucial.”

On Trevor Knight’s game against Kansas State:
“It was no surprise how well he played. We see it every day in practice. Even when he was behind Blake (Bell) he always practiced hard and did what he was supposed to do, so it was no surprise for us.”
