NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office announced Monday that due to returned inventory from West Virginia’s team allotment, a limited number of tickets for Saturday’s OU Football contest are available.

Tickets for this game are priced at $92 and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Fans are encouraged to purchase purchased online. Tickets may also be purchased via phone at (405) 325-2424 or toll-free (800) 456-GoOU or in person at the OU Athletics Ticket Office during regular business hours.

Thanks to tremendous fan feedback and participation, “Stripe the Stadium” returns for a second campaign and will highlight the festivities surrounding OU’s Big 12 Conference opener against West Virginia on Sept. 7. Fans can view the Stripe the Stadium map to learn what color they should wear to the game.

For the Sept. 7 game against West Virginia, fans will once again be encouraged to “Stripe the Stadium” after Sooner fans pulled off the feat last season vs. Notre Dame. Fans who have tickets in even numbered seating sections should wear Crimson and fans in odd numbered seating sections should wear White. The general admission student section should all wear Crimson to this contest. Interested fans can purchase this season’s There’s Only One Oklahoma shirt and hat that come in both crimson and white at the OU Bookstore or online at shop.soonersports.com

In addition, football’s 2012 Big 12 championship will be celebrated during Saturday’s contest. Both the Pride of Oklahoma and West Virginia’s band will perform, as well.

Fans attending 2013 OU Football home games are urged to plan ahead for road construction on the I-35 corridor in Norman. For complete details on alternative routes to the OU campus, please view Alternate Routes for OU Football Game Day.
