LINCOLN, Neb. - OU's Tim Duncan connected on a 20-yard field goal attempt with time winding down in the second quarter to tie the OU-Nebraska score at 10-10. The Sooners were headed for their second touchdown of the contest following a Nate Hybl completion to Josh Norman on the Nebraska two-yard line, but the Huskers pushed OU back a yard over the next three plays and forced Oklahoma to settle for the field goal.

The Sooners scored the game's first points when Hybl found tight end Trent Smith in the end zone for a 4-yard score with 10:27 left in the second quarter. The play capped a 77-yard scoring drive and marked Smith's sixth touchdown grab of the year.

Nebraska's Dahrran Diedrick scored on a 2-yard touchdown run with 5:58 left in the second quarter to make the score 7-7 before Josh Brown kicked a 27-yard field goal to put the Huskers ahead 10-7 with 2:36 to go in the half.

Hybl replaced an injured Jason White at the 11:20 mark of the second quarter and finished the half 6-for-13 for 90 yards and the touchdown to Smith. White was 5-for-12 for 50 yards and an interception before leaving the game with an apparent knee injury.

The Sooners outgained the Huskers 212 yards to 164 in the first half.
