NORMAN, Okla. -- Another day of raucous weather created tough conditions for the Oklahoma rowing team at the second and final day of the Clemson Invitational on Sunday.

The varsity eight and second varsity eight each claimed fourth-place finishes on the day. The V8, placing ahead of Tennessee, Iowa and Miami (FL), came in at 7:23.4. Racing past Cornell, Columbia and Duke, the 2V8 earned their finish in a time of 7:14.8 in its first race of the day and followed it up with another fourth place in a time of 7:58.1 as conditions picked up in the latter part of the morning.

Both the varsity four and second varsity four could each get in only one race on the day. The V4 took sixth at 8:26.0 while the 2V4 came in with a time of 8:21.4, placing fifth.

Also racing once, the third varsity eight took third in its race behind Penn and No. 22 Louisville but ahead of Duke, Iowa, No. 24 Michigan State and No. 16 Cornell.
