Sophomore Erica Brewer finished fourth on bars in her first Individual Final. Brewer scored a 9.8875, the second-highest score by a Sooner on bars at a Final behind only Hollie Vise's 9.925 in 2010.
"I feel fantastic," Brewer said of her routine. "I went for everything. This weekend I stuck all three of my dismounts. I didn't hold anything back."
Participating in the first Individual Final of her career, Brewer also competed on beam, taking ninth with a 9.2750.
Also representing the Sooners and competing in her first Individual Final, sophomore Rebecca Clark placed seventh on bars with a score of 9.8250.
"I had a great experience and enjoyed it," Clark said. "The whole weekend has been amazing and something I'll never forget."
Junior Madison Mooring became the first Sooner to compete on vault twice in a career at the Individual Final, scoring 9.7917 to finish 21st.
"It was nice to be back," Mooring said. "It felt different being without my team, but they were cheering me on and I had a fun time."
Under head coach K.J. Kindler, OU has had 20 individual event finalists in the past seven seasons compared to 12 in the program's previous 25 seasons combined.
