Big 12 Championship Final Round |  Photo GalleryRecap

2:00 p.m. -- The Sooners shot a 297 (+9) in Sunday's rain-filled round to finish in fifth place at the Big 12 Championship. Despite rainy and windy conditions for much of the tournament, the Sooners' three-round 888 (+24) represented their best ever score in the 15-year history of the Big 12 Championship, topping their previous event low of 912 in 2002 when they finished in second place. Freshman Chirapat "Ja" Jao-Javanil was OU's best scorer on the day and on the weekend. Jao-Javanil shot a 1-over 73 Sunday to finish the tournament tied for 10th place.

Here are highlights from the final round:

6:50 a.m. -- The final round of the Big 12 Championship is here. The Sooners are warming up on the putting greens and driving range in preparation for their shotgun start at 8:00. The girls will be starting on holes 5-9. OU has started off slow in the first two rounds but have played significantly better on the back nine. The coaches think starting halfway through the front nine can really benefit the girls and help them get off to a strong start.

Big 12 Championship First Round |  Photo Gallery |Recap

7:00 p.m. -- All 12 teams have finished their first round. The Sooners end the day tied with Texas A&M for fifth place, trailing first-place Texas Tech by four strokes. OU will tee off Saturday morning at 9:00 with golfers from Missouri and Texas A&M.

4:55 p.m. -- Due to lightning, teams that are still playing have been called off the course. Depending on when this storm passes through, the six teams remaining will either finish their first round tonight or tomorrow morning. OU is currently tied for fifth place, but three teams ahead of them still have a few holes remaining. Texas Tech has completed its round and leads the field with a 294 (+6).

4:50 p.m. -- The Sooners tied the school record for lowest score in the opening round of a Big 12 Championship, firing a 298 (+10). The last time an OU team shot a 298 in the opening round of the conference tournament was in 2000. The 2000 Sooner squad went on to win OU's first Big 12 title.

10:05 a.m. -- The Big 12 officials have reached a decision. Warm ups will resume at 10:30 and the golfers will tee off starting at 11:00, three hours after the original tee times.

9:00 a.m. -- Rain still coming down in Columbia, should be passing through soon. The re-evaluation meeting is being pushed back to 9:45.

8:00 a.m. -- Due to rain, the start time of the first round is being delayed. Officials will evaluate at 9:00 and tee off at 9:30 at the earliest. We'll release information on the new start times as we receive them.

7:10 a.m. -- Yesterday afternoon, Coach Drouin spoke with founder Mark Laesch on the turnaround of the OU golf program and what it will take to win this weekend. Fans can watch the interview here.

6:50 a.m. -- Good morning, Sooner Nation! We just arrived at the course and have begun warming up on the range and putting green. It rained last night so the course is pretty wet. It's currently cloudy and in the mid 50's, though we're expecting some showers later on today. The 3rd-seeded Sooners are grouped with No. 2 Texas and No. 1 Iowa State, with groups teeing off in about an hour. Brooke Collins will tee off at 8:00, Emily Collins will tee off at 8:10, Anne-Catherine Tanguay will tee off at 8:20, Ellen Mueller will tee off at 8:30 and Chirapat "Ja" Jao-Javanil will tee off at 8:40.
